Current Shop System, does it suck?

You are looking in pretty good shape nowadays. You are far far further ahead in terms of gear than I was at your point in the game. Progress is slow, but it happens.

 

I wonder how skill can get me higher in ranks against mk5s with 4300 hp, IV rares or III epics. And I meet them all the time since I climbed over 2200.
Playing for two month I'm already tired as hell because of that random giving me lots of items I'll never use.
I suppose skill is not the only thing u should have to win in BBay...
And I'm afraid that after two or three more weeks in this wonderful game with its shit shop system I'll just quit.

 

So you've hit the point where i was at the beginning of the thread. So I'm not completely out of my mind right? That the road ahead seems so grindy and almost impossible that you contemplate on whether it's worth to continue playing this game? You will hit an even harsher reality at 2400 infamy or so and it almost feels futile(that's when i raged on this thread and nearly quit).

Well, i seemed to have pulled through and finally making it somewhere. Still a long road ahead for me with Epics though. Maybe i'll be a Nightmare player with all and only T5 Rares(has there ever been, maybe i'll be the first), oh and i hope that displays my "skill" somewhat Porthos!

Hang in there, I'm a prime example to follow. Give it a good 1-2 months.

 

Im already 2424 at the screenshot.. And yeah, I want to quit more and more from fight to fight from box to box..
But thank u for ur support. I'm happy that at least somebody understands how is it hard to fight way more powerful enemy and get nothing if u win..

 

How about we try a positive spin on the issue and try to come up with ideas that would both help, but also be something Rovios accoutant would understand?

My suggestion:
Allow 1 purchase pr given timeperiod (fx once a month) of a duplicate epic from the store. Price it at 3k pearls, or whatever you think is resonable.

This would ensure some progress to look forward too (and require people to farm and/or buy x pearls pr month). Being limited to only one once in a while would still leave a spending gap for the whales would want everything now.

Thoughts? Better ideas?

 

Good idea, to extend that. Why don't they create weapon bundles for sale based on the most used weapons or items the account uses(there's obviously some mechanism for the quests). Ie: Rare or epic varieties for a price. $25 bundle for a Rare Item with some pearls ie 500? , $99 for an epic Item with some pearls ie 2500? Rovio gets to control the frequency and based on the buying behaviour or level etc.

The other option is what you speak of, but once you have the Epic item at Level max for that tier. allow to BUY the duplicate for a price. 5000 -7k pearls? Something. At least give the player the option to and scale it up the higher the level required. Not going to be cheap, but at least it's a way out?

 

I'd rather buy rare duplicates for even 2 million gold instead of that casino box system!!

 

In all honesty, that would be too cheap lol At least at the eyes of Rovio, long time players with epics and max t5 rares as well as the whales with legendaries. The pricing may start at 2.5mil for T2 Rare but rapidly scales up to something in gold but would require pearls for low level players since their storage is capped. And what i mean is that you don't actually get the duplicate, you get the Evolve screen and a button that allows you to upgrade with resources(gold, pearls or both).

 

Doesn't matter. Any certain price would be better than that awful random.

 

And what does summer EVENT tells us (ho could u call this an EVENT. Just a try to get more money for ur summer vacation)? Right! Piss off pathetic f2p players we have no time for you, hey p2w players take a look what we've got for ya!

If Rovio starts making some boat skins it will be very profitable, while not ruining the game balance.

 

Whales will buy Ferrari speeder skin, whatever it costs.

 

Now this I have to agree with @POrthos.After all these threads and feedback still not even a minor tweak in the update.There is no way this game will become an esport lmao.

 

Bought my second Epic Crate


This was a bit better. Those Rare Snipers, Rare Carronades and Epic Pulse was a welcomed addition. The Epic Grease tho baffles me, might just scrap it.

3 Epics in this batch. Not too bad.

 

Thats almost 2 epics better than average, not bad Tricky to gather 10 yellow legendaries though.

 

yep! which is why I'm not complaining hard on this once. LOL It helped me get my T5 Sniper.

Tell me about it, i only have 3/10 Red and 1/10 Yellow and it's been a while. I got 2 of them through Epic crates, 1 from season, and the last one was from scrapping a rare weapon.

 

Yea, but how long does it last before rovio start giving epic for free?/
And btw, does it fun to have a battle with same dozen of guys over and over again? If so, how long can you last ?
