    Both of the times I combined red pieces I got the same weapon, so I guess I cleared those odds
    but now I have to get it past lvl24?! :(

    I kept chugging 100k damage a day for a while but then I got my endgame Bhurt trainings and t4E blast. Then I farmed 960k in a day and voilà! Legendary!

    Good thing is, though I did have a t4E blast, the lege replaced my t4R blast, so the grind was worthwhile.
