Now imagine 5 projectiles (explosive cannons and sniper crits) hitting you for 2000 each within 5 seconds. RIP Fixer

Actually there are 3 type of selfish fixers
    1. Ultimate Selfish (3 duct)
    2. Selfish (2 duct + 1 pulse)
    3. Not so Selfish ( 1 duct + 2 pulse)

    When I was at MK5 I was Type 2.

I turn to Type 1 when I got the 3rd duct level up and trained all my duct and cool down talent.

I had watched your video, u know how to play.
U will be a good selfish fixer (any Type).

I have trained all the duct tape talents, I don't have super powerful tapes, I have a T4 rare + T2 Epic + T2 rare , that's my current setup.
Maybe I may continue as selfish fixer. I love the play style.

Being selfish requires you to use more specific items instead of what you want to though, usually. For example, back at 2000 infamy I saw this mk 5 selfish fixer with a flare. Every game that I played with him (on his team or on enemy team) his team always lost when he used duct, even though he usually did the most damage.

It would be nice if the Fixer light was on for healing and off for selfish.

Because you're not healing your dang team. The hell is the point of a fixer if they ain't healing their team?! Your team needs you to have bolts and stuff, not duct tape. If the world was full of DTF, everyone would switch to defender and use all their bandages. Not good.

Basically, DTF are a nuissance to your team.

DT isn't worth it because fixer pretty much has no offensive slots.

This type of player (which does not believe on the duct side) will be the one to request friend, "chat" with you and then defriend you.

    Everyone's have their own opinions,
Depends on us how to react to it.
    Peace.

selfish fixer might be good but you need high hp, speed and good duct tapes and it's also necessary to pick right weapon because you have only one until you reach mk6 so you can't equip something like torpedo or mortar because they are useless at short range

Everyone is free to choose their setups as they want. As long as they are effective and contribute to the battle nothing else matters.

I had a selfish fixer on my team and the guy rushed out at the start. I followed and lost 50% of my hp in the process. If he had communicated that no healing is on the cards I wouldn't have rushed to help and started off cautiously.

Are selfish fixers bad? Imo no they are not as long as they communicate to the team and if the team doesn't understand it's not their fault. :)

@Sewah mentioned 3 types of setups. I would suggest go with the second one. Keep a pulse handy in case you need to keep a team mate alive for a little help. A little healing does a lot of harm to the unfriends. ;)

Here is the replay if u want to check it out.

    Edit: I won this battle

Personally, I hate the duct tape using, selfish fixer. I think that there is no point keeping a fixer alive is he doesn't fix. The main reason for protecting your fixer is that he will protect you back, and all-tape fixers should just try and play defender with bandages, or a speeder with a tesla shield etc, because you have greater firepower and health/speed.
