Why do I always get zero star??

    Lvl too low hahaha... but I finally got one star with 8k damage and 3 kills.. what a fair target for me to get a star lol... hrmm I am currently using rare cannon, epic blast cannon and epic overboost, rare nitro and rare turbo. Seems like the best I can get now

    Is the cannon any good? Level and stats and perks? Same for blasty, what perks do you use? And, for reference, this was my mk4 setup, not much different from a mk3 one, since I didn't use 2 slot weapons at mk4 in my later days playing it.

    This is my current setup. Because I am more of a close range speeder. I like to go behind the enermy and attack them. Then cannon’s fast cooldown allows me to deal more damage especially when blast cannon take 11 seconds to cool-down. And I also feel more safe to move very close and shoot due to my super short hp. Cannon allows me to have more room for error as even if I miss I can shoot after 5 seconds.

    I'm a burst type speeder who specializes in cleaning up soft targets. That's why my loadout is for sudden, quick and accurate point damage. FG+BC on my ship deals a wicked 784+420 damage on unarmored targets and 675+420 over the toughest armour.

    Mine is more like 200+ and 500+ with a decent percentage to deal critical damage. I know the damage it’s kind of low but as compared to the rest of the weapons I don’t think I can get better option.

    Can you try flare + blast with good perks? It'll definately suit your style.

    Hmm the problem i think is due to all these mk5s at lower levels, i am stuck at 1000 infamy , mainly because my items are quite bad but over time u will go up and 1.6k infamy with a mk3 is very good. This photo was taken over a week ago but my items are now all rare tier 1 or better but as they are only tier 1 they are not so good compared to ur items( how did u get a tier 2 epic blast cannon, i cant even get one epic blast cannon). I feel that once u get to mk4 and are able to get more hp and another defence slot u will go up again

    He was up there before there were mk 5 beasts up there. Thats a unique problem tho. Two months ago, this meta we see here didn't exist. Odd, no?

    i am talking about why he is finding it a bit hard to get up again but i really cant talk about two months ago because that was when i started but it is odd.

    Basically, two months ago, the stuff we hear about mk5s in the 500s was true for mk 3s. That is, everyone was like, how can I fight a mk3? Im at just 300 infamy!!! But mk3s in the 1600s were okay, as in, normal. Then the meta shifted and mk 5s were common in the 1600s and I haven't seen a mk 3 in ages.

    Dude, flare is not made terrifying by what it does, but by WHAT IT CAN DO. Add two epic DoT perks and the damage instantly does 300+. When comboed with blasty, your shots deal higher damage, add burn perks, and BOOM. Match made in heaven.

    Ah, okay then. See what setup RNG gives you, then go forward from there. Word of advice: Have a vision of what you want your ideal ship to be.

    Which is exactly why they assume we are all cheaters if we lose a match or two... so we can’t grind, get resources or get out of the hole without paying paying cash for sugar etc. The devs skew this game towards the pay-pals, and assume all their f2p players are dishonest. Otherwise why would the default position be punish first, ask questions only if forced
