Exactly. I had pretty much been away from this game (just randomly checking the game every few weeks) for two months until I happened to login yesterday morning. I noticed the in-game announcement for update video and 2 minutes later - boom, I was hooked again. Today alone I have been playing more battles than I played in the past three months combined just because the video told me what item slots the new ship will have. So I started to farm and upgrade those items that I will need.

Without the video it could take me weeks to notice there even was an update and when I finally saw it I would be weeks behind on my farming progress compared to what happened when I saw it yesterday.

 

I think the developer had seen how others developer announce their update.

The video update look similiar with wargaming update for their world of tank game.

That's good.

Learn from among the best developer.

 

I started training a crew member from lvl29 to 30 before the devs made this announcement and if the update comes out before it’s finished do I lose out through no fault of my own due to devs giving short notice for such a major update.

On the whole I’m looking forward to the update and withholding my judgement till then as I thought the capture the flag was bad when I first played it but now love it as I just go on a killing spree for the kills guild quest.

 

Lol. I think you are the first to comment that we weren’t given enough notice. General mode seems to be that we are having to wait too long after being teased.

I hope you don’t lose out - I’m guessing there will be some way to deal with this given you won’t be the only one in this situation.

 

I be first to admit it may not be today they put the update out but I seen too many companies pushing updates out with little notice, so I’m praying on one hand it isn’t today so I can finish the training but on the other hand want the update as soon as to see and enjoy it lol

 

Just wanted to add If the update didn't match our expectations..then our BB's overhyped player base will do god knows what...just a warning for Devs they shouldn't tease us more
