Yes but he is saying you don't need parts only pieces. I'm already past rares category. People now a days have T5E which are no match to legendary T1 let alone rare which are out of league of even ace 2 these days.

 

Pieces are the way everyone has to go long term. I main defender, and now have all the cannon/flare perks I could possibly want, and the parts option is just laughable. You can only add one type of a perk to each weapon, so at some point you WILL be wasting coins buying more perks. But you can always use more epic/legendary dupes.

 

Rudder is better though (can only speak for Defender).

 

I'm willing to bet the next event they will remove legendary pieces from events

 

No, gearlube is better (also coming from a Defender.)

 

Ehhh. Not if you also like having a chance to dodge torps/maneuver in general as well as track targets.

 

Since Defenders Can't Move Or Rotate That Fast, I Always Turn My Turret To Aim, And It Helps Because It Gives You A Lot More Options On What To Do, If You Know What I Mean.
