    I’m thinking longer cooldown, longer range, more shots than carronade. (Potential to add more shots through training)
    Carronade is great against TS, so I’d expect this to be the same.

    I think defender will be ok. With high number of shots, it’s defence should mitigate against a lot of the damage (as it currently does against carronade)

    I think it will be extremely hard to hit speeder with all of those shots. As soon as speeder is hit by one or two they’ll nitro out of there. Even if speeder is moving normally, trying to keep the crosshairs on a speeder (with its low profile in wavy conditions) will be a nightmare.

    Sounds like a high-skill wep, I'm gonna have a lot of fun! Been saving up rare pieces in preparation, I have enough for two rare weapons... Time to start praying to RNGesus:D

    It likely works like a Missile... each projectile goes in a random direction with a 10% chance they all miss and a 1% chance they all focus on your target.

    It seems like it will be an all arounder weapon; it will be good against any ship.

    defenders and shooters will get hit by more shots but they have the defense to take them, and the yellow boats will get hit less often but they don’t have much defense so they take more damage per hit.

    I am just assuming, but I think it will be a 2slot weapon and therefore the enforcer is the only ship I wouldn’t equip this on, and their large bubbles will be easy to hit, so this could easily be the TS counter we were waiting for XD

    Doesn't the video appear to show each shot is individually aimed since the shots direction moves? If so, then the game can't calculate total combined hit damage like a flare gun or carronade since if you hit with the 1st shot, it won't know yet if you're 10, 11 or 12th projectile will hit or not. And what happens if the boat gets hit with a teammates weapon inbetween your 1st and 12th projectile. This is going to be interesting for sure. Can't wait to try out the exact mechanics of it.

    Escalating damage would be an interesting mechanic here imo

    But the new weapon will -most probably- have the need of us aiming (leading) each shot, so the speeders using OB and Nitro will be able to escape from most shots...

    It's probably not meant as a speeder counter. It's most probably against ships that don't RUN, but OSCILLATE;););)

    The Gatling gun long firing time will increase the amount of sound in the game. Some players actually might find his too much. It also may obscure the sound of other weapons which are being fired at you.
    It will be interesting to see how this has been dealt with.
