[Train] Bug?

Felix is training for level 29, and it takes 3 days and 15 hours to finish training.

The value to hurry was 1293 pearls, okay.

I bought the VIP, however the training time did not decrease by 20%, and now the required pearl value has risen to 1546.

What is the logic behind this increase in pearls if the training time has not changed?

And the training time should decrease by 20%, right?

 

The VIP time reduction only affects training that is started while the VIP status is active.
The last training you begin before VIP runs out will benefit from the 20% reduction.

 

The time I understand, but the increase in almost 300 pearls? What's the excuse for that?

 

That increase makes no sense at all. It should be a bug.

 

Must be something that happens on purpose. Maybe the pearls increase due to the lost time, and you're back like 12 hours on training costs ( 1 hour of training costs 26 pearls, one less minute is 25), because that might be the amount of time taken away from the original training time.

But that's just a theory. ( don't say it, don't say it...) A GAME THEORY! ( damnit.)

 

I hope it is, because I did several calculations to try to get close to level 48 hahaha ... Now increases the pearls.

 

I'm not very bad at calculating, but 3 days and 15 hours is a total of 87 hours. 1293/87 is around 15 pearls per hour. Why this only increased after activating the VIP?

 

They know vip peeps will spend the money to speed up training. That's why it's more for vip.

 

Check the pearl per hour price again after this one finishes training.

 

Now... This increased to 17 per hour. But, I buy vip and pearls to hurry the training and now I need pay more 300 pearls? This is wrong.

 

We know it’s wrong. But it could be a bug. What I meant was that you should check the price after starting training again after this one is completed.

 

Lets see... Probably the devs have a good answer to explain this.

 

I don't think it's a bug but something implemented to get more $$$ from the ones willing to pay. If that's the case, I doubt any dev will speak up. How are they going to explain that. I have VIP and it's cost about 25 pearls per hour. You new pearl calculation take in your VIP status.

 

Well, before was 15 pearls per hour, now is 17, you pay 25. Something dont makes sense here.

 

I’m guessing that the time decreases with VIP, but the price for skipping training does not. 1293 + 20% is about 1551 (which is close to your new value, give or take the time differences).

VIP doesn’t reduce training that has already started, however, if you start training with VIP and it expires midway, you will still continue to benafit from the reduction (so it kinda works out).

The increased cost to skip a training that isn’t benafitting from the 20% reduction, is probably just an oversight.

 

Correct. The time for trainings get decreased by 20% so to balance cheapass rovio's income the price to pearl time increases by 20%.

 

I wonder if the same glitch works backwards at the other end... Start training before VIP expires, and then pay 20% less to skip 20% reduced time.

 

But that does not make sense! If the training already in progress does not decrease the time, it can not increase the pearls.

 

It can if it’s a mistake.

 

Um... I’m pretty sure Rovio can do whatever they want with their game... right? They probably made it this way so they can make more money.
