To the Devs, regarding Infamy

I think the star system and infamy system should be reversed since starts seem to be based more on merit than participation. In real sports, you better believe they have bonuses for performance especially for the Super Bowl. And I've been done in by plenty of speeders.

Again the damage comment i originally made was just one example. Kills should also have an effect as well as Fixer healing.

On a side note, we've been in quite a few matches together.

 

Hey Marauder, having just read through this whole thread, you are something else, I'm about the same as @TheAntiSnipe, around 1k infamy and I play enforcer.
Even though I only do around 1.8K damage I still do a lot for my team. My loadout may not be geared towards damage, but more support (Hint: It's important), I've saved my teammates multiple times with a well timed stun or napalm, and occasionaly a sacrifice. But I still know that I helped my team win. Instead of only dealing damage while not helping my team at all, and losing, and then saying my team sucked because they were forced into a 4v5 because of a camper.
Also, why are you being an ass to us, we are trying to help you with constructive critisim, but you treat us as if we are apes criticising a symphony. I don't throw this term around a lot but you have earned the title of whale.
(Sorry for bad grammar, organization, etc. I'm not good at writing this stuff)

 

What Bittersteel meant wasn't the monetary benefits of being paid as a top player, he meant winnings. As in cups or trophies. A good performance on a losing team at the Super Bowl doesn't entitle you to winning it, as in the actual cup, which is the thing that really matters. A loss is a loss.

 

To those who bashed me for saying damage is important. And for the record (again), i think healing is just as important. Glad to see it's included in determining stars.

I think we all can do better. Some of us just don't have the same income as others and/or they're more intelligent on where they spend their money.
