P2P aren’t interested in just getting a legendary perk, they’re likely after a specific perk, which means they may need to play through multiple times. The same goes for hardcore F2P, who have the time and dedication to grind out hundreds of games.

Everyone else is probably happy to just try their luck and see what they get.

Making the quests more achievable benafits everyone (especially P2P).

Of course, easier events benefits everyone but except Rovio?

Making it easier isn't stopping us from spending money. 90% of F2P won't spend a dime either way.

It doesn’t hurt Rovio to have people enjoy the game, and P2W are more likely to buy tickets if they can see themselves getting 2-3 leggy perks, before the event ends, instead of wasting a whole weekend just to get one that they didn’t want.

In terms of what should cost money and how much, I think Rovio should be focusing on making VIP more worthwhile. Even those who lable themselves F2P would be far more likely to consider a monthly payment rather than buying a 1 time boost.

The word "enjoy" is quite qualitative. In one extreme where Rovio always give what the players want, how long player will enjoy the game subjected to the limited number of devs? Personally, I do not mind if it is difficult to get something because F2P will be effected by the same rules.
