This game is harsh on returning players

on the other hand it is kinda hard to be optimistic, although im not encouraging negativity, when the going is just giving you the sh!ts constantly? i have been there before i would know lol :|

 

Miika also said in another thread that they look at every thread ( except maybe for the matchmaking sucks threads )

So I think that if they don't respond that they didn't find it necessary, or because it was a matchmaking thread.

But yea, they do care. If they didn't they probably wouldn't have released 3.0.1

Couldn't the answer be as simple as giving a free amount of boxes after say 3 months with no activity I would think a free 10x box would do it but maybe the amount of boxes changes with length of absence?. Or you could give duplicates of the weapons on the ships etc except not sure how easy that would be for devs to do etc.

 

I did but that would mean no activity for 3 months or more depending on what devs think is fair. If people want to wait that long without playing just to get the box then they can't enjoy this game that much!! I can see this being exploited by those stuck at the beginning but then maybe this would fix that problem too?

 

You are lucky that you enjoyed the TDM event, as for me I didn't really enjoy it.
Despite of its matchmaking based on gearscore,I had battles against MK3 - MK4 players who had legendary tier II - epic tier IV or tier V - rare tier V items. They wreck their opponents with 1 hit or 2 hits. Either If these players were with me or against me, It's soo unfair for us.
They will easily grind event perks, as for us it will be such a painful task to even complete the first quest...
When the battle ends, I go check these players's captain level and their equipment, Here are some results:

This game is literally making me more disappointed than any other game I have ever played.

It helps knowing I’m not the only one. Wow Nooobser, that’s some horrifying evidence. I hope some changes can help look into these things.

 

It helps knowing that there is some awareness to these issues. That’s exactly how it feels right now, like I’m being punished despite playing hard to try to win against insane odds. Even worse, I am feeling paranoid that I’ll get banned despite my battle log record showing that I’m trying my hardest all the time with the replays to prove it (I’m assuming the replays are saved on the devs side). I hope the devs look into who they ban by looking into the battle performances to see who is purposely tanking their score/MR and who is legitimately trying to win yet having unfortunate Win/Loss results. Most importantly, I hope the devs look at the main problem, that returning players like me are being held back by our old high MR from over a year ago and it’s being used against us in a very negative way. There’s an even worse element in all this, there are floaters and kamikaze players purposely tanking in my games often and it frustrates me more that I’m trying to win while being stuck in the anti-tank system, only to see these people kick people like me while we’re down by purposely killng themselves in-game. With all that said, I hope things can be changed and fixed for the better.

Also, Why would you be banned for? I'm unaware of the reason.

 

I'm basing that entirely by some people in this thread mentioning the possibility of being banned simply for being in the anti-tank system. I'm not at all familiar with what the devs consider a bannable offense, so I have no idea whether it's true or not. Would appreciate it if anyone can shed some light on this with information.
