The speedest speeder!!!

Maxing out Turbos allows higher level players to swap some talents that buff speed for damage buffs in some weapons or something else

 

I am gonna swap enfo speed buff to flare damage when i get epic t3 turbo

 

Agility is also capped and so is turret agility.

 

you can achieve higher speeds but only by activating OB and/or nitro, they knew why they made something like maximal speed, the ship would be almost impossible at these speeds (imagine having legendary OBs and nitro) and also impossible to hit

See hp is only thing that matters. Those who prefer hp will have to sacrifice something either speed, health regen, or both agilities. So its a trade off.
But its not case for others
See for example defender with already more hp to begin with running like a speeder? Scary or shooter charging in with 5 weapons killing 2 team mates. That's why there is cap for other inactive abilities and not hp.

 

it has one simple reason, there is no limit for damage and only ship that can reach that high hp is defender and it's slow af so it's balanced, high hp but low speed so you are easy target for shooters who can wreck you under 30 seconds

 

Nope. Bunta is the fastest with his legendary T5 overboost and turbo.
