The matchmaking in TDM is absolute trash.

And btw, don't fleet. You will have better chance of winning with random Joe than your fleet partner. Fleeting is for mk7s who wanna seal club everyone below them.

There are too many factors to take into account for the game to actually be fair so it won't be for a long time, if it all.

 

they should be able to balance the fighting based on player level MK lv and gear score you shouldn't be fighting anyone more or less than 5 levels difference or a different MK than you regardless. gearscore would be harder to determine since shields and bandages can be taken off to lower it since they dont do that much difference.
believe me I have been losing a ton of battles I'm lv17 and I'm facing levels in the 30s and high 40s with mk3 that have all legendary and epic items that are already max items...its literally a slaughter

it's so funny bro, I have NEVER had a fight (I'm lv16 MK3) where I have fought someone that's a lower MK or level than myself. it's always me fighting one other MK3, maybe 1 or 2 MK4s and usually MK5s and maybe a MK6. who ever created the matchmaking is a straight toolbag and shouldn't have a job. this game has the worst matchmaking I've ever seen.
