The gearscore of the legendary weapons is unbalanced

I encountered the same player and we got totally wrecked by him/her. Other members have chimed in that gear score is "balanced" but it doesn't seem so in this case.

 

A Power rating which incorporates Gear Score (but not infamy) is used to balance sides, but not necessarily amongst participants in the match. I've been in matches where Gear Score variance between highest and lowest players is as much as 8000!

 

As it happens to me, it happens to thousands of new players, always the new players suffering the abuse of the game's errors

Nothing to compare with players who have no way to deal with these legendary weapons, and benefit others who take advantage of the event with these imbalances

His gear score was 5k more than mine. Still falls in the same category of how do you compete with that.

The other thing is people get caught up with the gear score complaints, there is a second side that no one mentions that is captain training.
If i run my mk2 with a t1r carro and t1r napalm they may have a low gear score but my carro will have 7 projectiles and slows. my talents also give me 102% extra to napalm.
A captain level 10 vs a 44 isn’t going to end well. You don’t have to run legendary/epics to play the system.
Weapon choices are only half the battle.

 

Which makes no sense. There is speculation that Event Gear Score takes into account inventory rather than just the equipped items.

In theory Bandaras' teammates should have been weaker to compensate. It isn't clear from that image whether or not that was the case. Determining that actually requires researching infamy (current and season) and Gear Score immediately after the match to evaluate balancing.

You insulted his idea and experiences without acknowledging that higher level players can experience the same thing. And that affected his game as well, you're telling me tier 5 legendaries vs epics is fair? it's just as bad as what you guys are going through.

 

The issue has been brought up numerous time and it exists all the way up the food chain.
Also if you look at my picture and the second picture on your original can see the same person you were accusing.
While events are on everyone will play to maximise there return, its human nature. Change the gear score of legendaries people will run epics without perks, crew training can have a bigger impact than a perk.
If they decouple the guild quests from the events it might also help and stop people running stuff like the 5 ball park mortars, when the common and uncommon have only been equipped to drop gear score. (Just highlighting more issues)

 

I don't know why but my t5 rare flare gun had a higher gear score value than my legendary until it was level 5 or 6. It's something minor but still the values are incorrect
