The board 1 repeat farming Loophole

Okay i take that back, apparently Bittersteel is a farmer just like the rest of em. Lol but point is thats still a ton of guild points for the raffle. From a couple pearls to 2k+. I dont think Rovio should take this lightly. They need to start flexing the ban hammer or rollback all items to a week ago.. their input here would be very much appreciated.

 

One possible solution, would just to be to close the loophole, and give some reward to all the users who have stuck with the same guild since the update.

It would be, understandably, difficult to identify and roll back all the people who have been guild hopping. But it might not be too hard to identify people who haven’t changed guilds over the last few days, and give them some kind of bonus, so they’re at least ahead of the cheaters.

 

But how many accidentally hopped guilds out of good intentions, and how many are purposely doing it for the exploit? My guess is theres more 'exploiters' than there are clueless guild hoppers.

For all we know this couldve all started when some random dude decided to hop on to a better guild and realized that this new feature is exploitable. If thats even a real word i dunno lol but what I do know is every second I waste by not guild hopping im loosing thousands of pearls and items that these cheaters are getting for free.

 

Id rather they rollback everything to just before the update released. It should affect everyone and not just the cheaters so its fair for all and they cant cry about it. Then give equal rewards to everyone as an apology for wasting everyones time.

Atleast that way you wont have to figure out who cheated or exploited or whatever.

 

Cheers to you for doing it the right way. But cmon man this a pvp game we have to be competitive.. we all want better items. It sux really, the more people give in, the more we all miss out.

 

I’d be pretty upset about that. Since the update, I managed to find a duplicate for my epic exploding cannon. If the whole game were rolled back to before the update, then it could take me years to find another.

 

Ive gotten a couple epic perks, but only 2 are useful to me.. but i guess whatever useless stuff i got gets converted to gold so its all good. The only other thing ive gotten thats worth something is a legendary blue piece. I got lucky there.

Totally agree that they need to do something... anything. Just do something devs to make it right.

 

I understand.. i got some nice things too, no full epics but a couple perks and a legendary piece. I just want everything to be fair man. If it means that i have to lose all the things ive gained for the past week then so be it as long as the cheaters lose everything too.
Right now i just want something to be done. There has to be action taken. They cannot just let this slide.

 

They kind of already are pissing off honest players.

They are already at risk. Free 3,900 boxes for mostly free 2 play farmers is a huge hit on their income. Those players could have potentially spent on the game if none of this happened but i doubt they will now if they let this all slide.

 

With the new player thing then yeah, we wouldnt want them to turn away from the game. If i was a new player with mostly uncommon gear and because of the guild quests i get 1 or 2 good rares/epics then taking that experience away is very disapointing. They go back to square one, which isnt the same for most of us. So it is really a tough decision.

 

Id be okay with a ban. But perma ban is a little extreme for me. I do like your idea though. And with that atleast there is action done.

Id change the specifics a bit where they rank the cheaters/exploiters as to how much they recieved from farming. Highest rank gets the longest ban and some restrictions like when the account comes back he cant participate in guild quests for exactly as long as his account ban was. So lets say the worst farmer gets a 3 month account ban, then its immediately followed by a 3 month no guild quest participation. Giving him 6 months of basically nothing, while it gives us 6 months worth to get all the guild quest raffle rewards and get even with him. He gets to keep his account but he doesnt really progress in any way.

 

Aye nothing wrong with people that have moved a few times between legit guilds.

This is a thread about the guilds (and players) that create 5+ guilds a day at while they purposely abuse a flaw in the system for personal gain.

I'm afraid that they will chicken out (plenty of big names are using this cheat by now) and leave the cheaters far ahead of everyone else. However, if they ignore this then everything goes from here on. Morals and integrity down the drain.

 

I asked KilleWhale will they ban abusers or not and his answer was "well, it's our mistake first of all"... He also said that hotfix will be early next week...
So abusers are able to farm even more than now.. Do devs care? I'm not sure now...
