The anti-fixer [SUGGESTION]

Or maybe just show friends' items in the loading screen (like in the end game). So us fixers know who to prioritize. Should allow 10 seconds before starting though

 

I like the idea. I played a game today in which I had a selfish fixer in my team. Got some damage cause I exposed myself a bit more than I would without a fixer and spammed "HELP" for 1 minute or more before I realised the fixer was full duct tape.

I'm not against Selfish Fixers, but if you don't know them, you will expect some healing and you will play different.

Maybe an special visual effect over them or sth when they use two duct tapes at a time, so that at the beginning of the battle we know we can't be healed.

 

Miku laid out all the reasons 1 duct tape is effective. If you chose not to acknowledge it’s validity in any circumstance maybe you should petition Rovio to remove the item. In the meantime, I’ll take my duct tape, 5k+ infamy and sit in the corner.

 

Im suprised i have noy had ANYONE try to message me yet. My games consist of me at mk1 with mostly mk3s and mk4s. Im waiting for the day when someone comolains wuth a wth are u doing running with us with a mk1 u noob! My response will simply be.....i think the real question is why is a mk1 ship able to make it to the infamy a mk4 is at....u should be alot higher!

 

Do we really have people moronic enough to report others for their choice of items? I cannot fathom that anyone would be that stupid?
Sounds like the ingame warning against abusing the report function needs to be effectuated!

Sorry but as much as I don’t like the idea behind the “selfish” fixer there should be no reason to label them.
Where would you stop?. When you see the defenders and speeders with only mortars. The shooters with only mines equipped? Should they not be labelled too?

It does add annoyance to the game when you team mates bring an unconventional loadout. But that’s part of the game, unless they limit items there is nothing that’s going to stop them from appearing.

 

In a different thread, someone suggested making friendly equipment visible in the prepare for battle screen. This could solve your problem.

 

One duct is never a problem,One duct----dual pulse is used by agressive mk6 fixers.But they are excellent at both the roles of Healing teammates and attack to deal decent damage.

I might have recommended a lot of fixer to use duct at mk6.Duct at mk5 also works quite well,not the best,but quite good.

 

1 Tape = Red Flag
2 Tapes = Perma visibility to unfriendlies
3 Tapes = All players become united for the cause and hunt the fixer, whoever gets the killing blow wins pearls!

Joking aside, there was a recent suggestion I'm sure I saw about seeing the equipped gear of friendlies whilst in the lobby pre-match. You can then see all equipment for your team and not just fixer.
