    New Event Mode: Lucky Swap

    10 players get matched together, and then...
    ...50% chance everyone's gear is randomly reassigned within the group
    ...50% chance everyone uses their own gear (to minimize troll builds)

    Try new ships!
    Try new items!

    Would you be as good as you think you'd be with @American Marauder 's T5 Legendary gear?!!
    Then imagine @American Marauder in a Fixer! Having to battle against his own gear!!!

    Well not for nothing, this video shows what i can do with mostly Epic T5s. Only one Legendary weapon attached:
    3 Games, 31 Kills, 237k Dmg

    HIGHLIGHTS ONLY:

    Damage is meaningless. Kills are meaningless. You respawn instantly.

    Each team competes to get as many highlight stars as possible.
    (Battle Highlights are those things that pop up during battle saying "Nice Shot!" or "Triple Kill". They all have a number of stars above them. This number is higher on rarer, more difficule highlights.)
    For this event, the developers could add "Hexa-Kill", "Septa-Kill", "Octa-Kill", etc.

    The match ends after four minutes, and the team with the most Highlight stars wins.
    I think this would be an interesting event mode to play in because it would have everyone trying for difficult shots rather than just damage.

    You may have already heard this, but with some devices, when watching battle replays, you can tap the screen with seven fingers at once and enter this "Free-fly" mode where you can roam around wherever you want. You tap on one side on the screen to go forward or backwards and use the other side of the screen to pan around. That lets you read all the fine print and decorations without being blown up afterwards.

    Maybe make it so that only Long Shot, Lifesaver, and a few other ultra-rare highlights are included. Including all of them will increase the chances that some nutter will go minesweeping because #YOLOSwag

    "Minesweeper", "Torped", and possibly "Grilled" don't actually provide any battle stars. Neither does "Team Player".

    You have 2:30 to get as many kills as you can. Everyone has reduced health.
    5v5 or 3v3 or 1v1v1v1v1

    Along the same lines,
    Marathon;
    You have 10 minutes to duke it out, but be careful, if no-one dies in 3 minutes, the team with the LEAST capture points (for the entire game) wins. (In case of tie, the team who gets the next kill wins)

    You have 10 minutes to duke it out, but be careful, you only respawn twice.

    Event:
    Duration;
    You have 20 min to sail around on two combined maps, blowing up anyone you come across.
    Healers are invincible and can heal everyone (but can do no damage).
    Players can join or leave mid-game and still get rewarded. (You get the option to "Leave?" or "Play on" when you sink.
    Double battle coins.

    Hi Battlers,

    Here is an idea on matchmaking as I see there are lot of people complaining about mechanics of matchmaking dynamics of the game and get annoyed to lose because of :

    1) Players manipulating gear score by adding lesser weapons to get easier opponents.

    2) Sometimes game just try to balance 50/50 win / loss ratio; or whatever

    3) NML Players sometimes appearing in "average Joe" matches and annihilating them.

    We have seen that developers too have been constantly trying to strike just the right chord to find balance in matchmaking and this is more apparent during Events.

    Phew.... So much for the preamble. Here is a suggestion for a better matchmaking :

    "The matchmaking algorithm should take into account the number of matches a player has played (win or lose don't matter) and try to match it up against players who also have played nearly same number of matches."

    The gear score or weapons level or player level all depend on the number of matches a player must have played to earn those. So, a matchmaking system that find matching based on players total played matches would likely to yield a fairer and even battles.

    What are your thoughts? Let me know.

    Hardcore mode - No actual buttons, joysticks or targeting reticles on the HUD, no mortar circles, no mini map and no player names.
    The only visible things are the environment, boats, projectiles and the long press aim trajectory.
