Suggestion for Sniper Cannon

If you're OBing and nitroing all the time, why'd you say you're just moving at 1.6 speed?

 

Whichever game I'm discussing, there's always that one person who wants to just get rid of the things they don't like. Cough cough.

 

I didn’t say ‘all the time’, I said whenever I can. There is a big difference.

For example, If I fire one of my weapons. It would be great if I could Nitro straight away, but I can’t because I have to wait for GCD. So the fastest I can go is my regular Speed, which is actually pathetically slow when it’s ‘supposed to be’ your ships main defensive strategy.

 

Anyone think the sniper should be left alone? No? Just me? Fine then. I'll be the fruit loop in a world of Cheerios.

 

Well, I think speeder does deserve a bit of max speed increase, but it's still fairly fast compared to all the other ships. For example, my defender has lvl 28 epic turbo and it's speed is only 1.17. Also, you're complaining that it hits you from so far away. Then why are you not complaining about Railgun? They have infinite range and same base projectile speed as snipers, as well as much more damage. Also, earlier, you said the snipers decide who win the game before it even starts, but I know you've seen plenty of games where there were more snipers on one team and the team with less snipers won.

I’m not complaining about Railgun because Railgun isn’t broken, and it isn’t being spammed by 4 out of 5 ships on every team. Railgun has a really long cooldown, and it’s easy to counter by getting close.

The final outcome of many games is shaped by the early damage that snipers inflict. And I often see teams with better gear lose, it doesn’t prove anything, they still had better gear.

 

Exactly. Teams with sniper winning doesn't prove anything.
