Steep fall in infamy

    I should have added, that by creating these Infamy-floors, they can finally just get rid of this 800-below rule altogether.

    I have suggested this countless time add infamy floors but my range was quite high
    Mk4 1200
    Mk5 1500
    Mk6 2500
    Mk7 3500.

    Those do seem too high...
    There's gotta be a sweet spot where average-skill players never hit this floor naturally.
    This should only be keeping the lowest-skill players (and intentional tankers) from completely ruining the experience of lower Infamy levels where their high level ship has no business being.

    Heh, I can. It is one of those things that if you are good enough and cautious enough in such a match you can maybe stay alive long enough to have some small impact. If you work really hard you'll manage to get a 1 star win. The game play which is enforced is 100% defensive. It's what I called, "Hide beyond a rock and occasionally pop out to toss a bullet somewhere praying that nobody sees you." It wasn't a rewarding combat experience for me.

    What's interesting is the "rewarding" part. This is hardly the first game I've found myself "punching up". Usually, the reward is some sort of awesome gear. In this game you earn less. Not only is it unrwarding because of the tentative play-style but it is also literally "un-rewarding".

    @Miika Am i not supposed to get good team when i have lost 500 infamy already... I highly doubt the 50/50 algorithm works for this. Lot of ace players are frustrated,i hope you stop hoisting flag about the bullet proof algorithm and actually start looking at what the problem is

    I was at 3800 now i Cant get 2.9K ... Do i suck? Probably.. How are the players who are pathetic are allowed to climb infamy is beyond me... (see the screen shots they are in chain, those arent selected screenshots of best matches)

    Custom match was fun last night, and no you definitely dont suck :D
    Losing streaks are horrible, I dropped 700 the other night, and no matter what I did I couldnt win.
    5 games in a row I was top on my team with 2 stars, 15K damage (which is good for my infamy) and yet my team sucked so I dropped infamy which was frustrating.
    I have since climbed 500 again, but when you are losing infamy when playing your balls off it is frustrating.
    As a team you can carry one ship if they are playing badly, but one ship alone cannot carry a whole team, regularly.
    I still think if you get a star on the losing side then you shoudn't drop infamy.

    These days there are so many players rocking Epic T4 and Legendaries no doubt they won it with hard work.
    Is this game all about individual ships and not team plays? How are these players even getting into ace when they can't team fight properly not in 1 match but multiple.

    Same. Three seasons ago I just about got into nightmare. My season bests after have all been around and now I struggle at 3300. This really pisses me off because it ruined my level to infamy ratio - what used to be 35 to 4000. Now it's 38 to 3300. Can anyone explain this because I've also upgraded a lot of my stuff. Makes no sense

    There isnt anything to really explain.
    The biggest variable in this game isnt your gear, your talents, or your skills, its your team mates.
    You can have a complete T5 legendary loadout and that combined with 4 dregs on your team and you will be losing infamy regardless of your arsenal.
    This is why you will get streaks of both wins and losses, as they are pretty much out of your control and determined by who you get paired with.
    Someone on here the other day "wanted" to lose infamy so floated on purpose, and still won 7 matches in a row because of the team mates.
    Upgrading your gear certainly helps, but ultimately your fate is still lying with your team and not yourself.

    At level 35 I was around 3300 at 39 I was around 3600..
    Now all maxed gear for T4 evolution mk6 captain level 40 I'm at 3100:rolleyes:.

    Matchmaking is to blame nothing else or other ships have became over powered or I forgot how to play in 3 weeks:).

    I always adjust my game for every item nerf, every change in meta.

    Idk about you but every update or changes, I always beat my personal best. I'm gonna drop a few hundreds in the beginning but it's all good after.


    Peaked at 4200 as mk5 Speeder. Upgraded to mk6 then proceed dropped to 3600.
    Then peaked again to 4500+ before the season ended.

    In my opinion, what you are experiencing is what I call recalibration. You made changes, and you are in an adjustment period. It's going to take a while but you will hit a new personal best.

    Fleeting up with a good player makes it less gamble . But still u have to depend on 3 other's.. SMH:(.

    Well harassing the whole team and killing them one by one seems OP. Every other ship play it smart. Why should speeders have all the fun.

    Lol...last i checked there are still more shooters than enfo. So are shooter harassing?
    And No enfo can go against whole team and come out alive.
    1 harassing 5 is what i m calling op. Noone should be able to do it.
