Dont' scrap any epics, you will regret it!

 

Scrapped it and used the pieces to upgrade my t2 epic canon to a 19 because i have a 3rd epic! Hopefully today or tmrw it will be a t3 im very excited about it lol.
I have a rare canon since i started playing. Cant get dupes for the life of me. But got 3 epic canons haha works for meee.

Wrong. Snipers at high level do a lot of damage at high level. Mine crits at 35% chance and does 1300 dmg when it does, 500 dmg normal hits.And this is after the last update, it used to do more. And this is why they were rebalanced.

Oh man. Snipers are one of the end game worthy weapons. Regular cannon, probably only for the defender(maybe). I hope you don't regret it!

 

Heck no i love my canon. Soon to be t3 epic. Im sure ill get anothet anyways. Usually get stuff i dont use lol

But realistically, DPS doesn't mean anything if it's out of range. On paper if you can hit every single time, then perhaps it will do better, but on the battle bay, it's not target practice.

Carronades have one of the highest DPS, but it means nothing if you can't hit them half the time. Regular Cannon suffers from the same issue as the carronade.

You don't get to hit everything at every chance, sometimes Quality is better than quantity. One good hit that damages 1000 hp is better than 3 hits at 330hp, because... you're less exposed at getting hit back.

DPS also doesn't account for Criticals. So no, you're not entirely right.

 

Im impatient and you need a lot of gold and waiting hours for market refresh to get parts

 

And not to mention 5 epic parts cost 84.5k gold.

 

I neither know which amongst dps and dmg is more important

Id much rather a long range motar or a 2nd rare i been waiting months for

 

@Mamamyers There isn't a Shooter up beyond 2.5K infamy and higher that doesn't have a sniper rifle as part of their build. I have yet to see one. I can get some screenshots of the matches I have up here to prove it, and the reason is that the sniper rifle for a shooter is the best way to counter Speeders and Enforcers.

Agreed.My sniper is the go to weapon to hit speeders.The other one believe me or not is the rail gun lol.

 

Yep that's the other alternative, but it's weak close range. Sniper is a great weapon close and far away with a relatively decent reload time.

Yes exactly.The only reason rail gun is easy to hit speeders with is because of the projectile speed.But ofcourse mastering the rail gun isnt easy.But once done it is very satisfying and rewarding.

 

I used to use a Regular Cannon between 1.5K to 2.5K infamy and I ditched it. IT was limiting me, and I could not survive long enough to make an impact to the game / change the results. The reason was although it was dealing 400 damage per shot, I was also getting hit a lot more because of the range I'm subjected in most of the time to try and deal damage. I was a midrange speeder and Shooters and Enforcers were dealing more damage to me overall. When I changed to Explosive cannon,(which is a high damage but lower DPS weapon) I was able to hide and make more cover and use my sniper more effectively by using the surroundings better. When the time to strike was available, using my Explosive and Sniper close range was able to overpower the opponents on 2 quick strikes. The regular cannon could NOT do that, because that required me to circle around the player for a long period of time, and most of the time, help came to support my target.
