The problem with speeder and how it's balanced is with how crazy the ship is. Placed under certain conditions, a speeder will still demolish teams. And that's the issue. It won't be buffed until proven weak, and won't be nerfed until proven strong. Which leads to it being stuck exactly where it is.

    For example. Watch this game.

Really looks like speeder is OP, doesn't it? Well, the only reason I didn't LOSE this fight is because my opponents were unlucky and I was not. Plus I was consistent and played it tactical, while they split up(a stupid thing to do ofc).

Thing is, we as speeder mains do realize that how much of a luck-based ship it really is. Bad positioning on your team's part, good positioning on an enemy team's part... These things can break the speeder's strength.

Yeah, speeder is one of the most quirky, situational boats of all. Half the time it destroys stuff, while it spends the other half being target practice for shooters running sniper loadouts. You can't really classify it as a strong boat or a weak boat, because of how much depends on the player's skill, the quality of their teammates and enemies, and any factors the map brings into play. (Hi there Chill Zone spawns.)
Being a speeder main myself, I find myself dying early nearly as often as surviving to the end and picking up assists and maybe an elimination or two (ranked wise.)
