Scrapping Commons: Compiled Results (now up to 1100 items scrapped!)

All the contributors listed are not me but rather other players who shared their results. It's not to say "you will get this" it's just info there to see what the chances may be to get something. With enough data this could be used to semi-accurately predict the % chance of things

 

Ok here it is! It was a long haul of scrapping....

Sooo that was a journey. I think we with this data we can come to the conclusion that it is indeed completely random as to what color piece u will get, and is not dependent on the color you are scrapping. This was only the case in the red items...which makes sense considering they are the most common piece to get. Of course, more trials would be appropriate to be sure.

Scrapped: 400 commons
I was able to combine my rare and epic pieces, to get.....a rare ballpark mortar annndddd an epic big torp!!! (scrapped rare right away, but the big torp is a keeper)

According to this experiment you will have the worst luck getting pieces with scrapping green commons, and the best luck with yellow.

In total i collected 25 pieces, so each piece was 80k....not worth it :/

Also notably no legendary parts, pieces, or cells :,( cant hit the gold mine everyday

 

For that u will need a huge amount of data right now only the data /stats about rare parts items and powercell are accurate every other thing is misleading because it compiles the data of all 4 of u.
If done for one player he might get a leggy item piece only after scaring 1000 commons (for instance) but the the compiled data shows 3 in every 600 pieces which is not the case even if u mention the contributors the person reading can't differentiate between it.
If u want my advice u can make seperate sheet for all 4 contributors which will make up for a little survey pool giving people a somewhat better idea about what to expect

 

That is too complicated. If he just adds a note saying these are compiled results and none of this is guaranteed that should be good enough. Its complete RNG so the chance should be the same for everyone to get a leggy piece

 

Getting item pieces from scrapping does not depend on what is the of the colour item u r scraping.
I repeat it does not depend on it

 

I completly agree. this is evidence that it does not for those flat earthers

I got total of 8 legendary parts 6 red 2 yellow

 

I have some bad luck when it comes to getting legendary pieces. Out of all my scrapping commons I have only gotten 1 legendary piece. (I have 3 but the other 2 came from scrapping a rare and an epic item)

You can see I scrap quite a bit of commons as 100% of these common parts are from scrapping common items

 

unfortunate you could try recording 100, I never got a legendary before I tried scrapping for data lol, got the legendary on second scrap too

I'm not sure if I will continue to make posts on scrapping items because it does seem partially like an exploit. However, after looking at some others posts on the experiment it doesnt seem like you get too much more in return so the chances of it being nerfed is pretty small.

 

I usually scrap every time I reach 200k-300k. I'll save up for a 500k starting now

 

they are definitely gonna remove the ability to get legendary pieces from commons ( or nerf the chance in to the ground) thanks to these fucking posts. mark my fucking words.

 

I don't think they'd nerf it just based on this, they know the exact chance to pull a legend piece. Also, having a few legendary pieces is nothing but incentive to buy pearls and finish off the item is it not? If they wanted legends to HAVE to be bought they wouldn't be giving them out so much in ace1-nightmare leagues

 

Ironically, I got a Legendary Green piece this morning from scrapping a common rail gun out of a free crate.

(I’m not counting common and uncommon powercell)

 

Ohhhh, tell me about scrapping common. I am pretty sure I scrapped over 5000 commons red items.
Found 5 red legendary pieces from all that.
Want a small trick? - I only buy red items

 

But how did you get a legendary flare gun? It can't fall from the sky.
