    Something tells me the new ship may be gold-upgradable. Call it a hunch. Or call it a reaction to this, and the timing of the message:

    I think everyone should start saving up. If I'm wrong, what harm will it do? You can spend it on buying whatever post-update!

    But seriously. Save. Your. Gold. Just in case I'm right for once ;)

    Thanks, douchebag. Couldn't have said this BEFORE I got around to evolving 3-4 rares and epics I had kickin around??? ;)

    But really, would be amazing if they took a break from pieces.
    (And I still fight for the cause of giving each piece-upgradable boat its own event crate so you actually get what you want reliably).

    Found this as well.....and I call BS. Yes, legendary items should feel legendary. But they also should feel attainable to some degree, even if it requires some grinding.

    If rolling progress makes them trivial, why are we allowed to roll progress and earn legendaries through achievements?

    @TheAntiSnipe good post, I hope you're right, but I really think that the system for new ship won't change compared to the last two.

    On top of that I think that the new item type will be obtained by the same system. :eek:

    Agreed... the irony of the Rovio statement is that everything else in the game is attainable eventually by rolling over over an infinite timeframe.. why should Legendary Perks be the rule breaker? If they are concerned about giving them out, make them cost 3000 Coins or 5000 coins or 10,000 coins. It takes at least 10x that to achieve a Legendary Item as is.

    It's a shame that existing ships won't be adjusted, it's basically "Interceptor and Reaper will be sub-par for all current and future players, so the handful of people that spent money on upgrading them don't feel bad"

    I'm glad I've saved my 2 Epic Rudder perks.... 1.5M gold a piece in extra storage. Those plus about two dozen other epic perks I can sell and I'm stocked up.
