Request for devs to remove Perk Salvage cost.

Costs me 50 pearls to switch one epic perk between items... (25 to take it off one, 25 to remove the existing perk)

If you’re suggesting that’s the same kind of request, then do you also think there should be a pearl cost for swapping weapons on ships, and a pearl cost for rearranging items in the inventory?

 

How bout it takes 4 hours to remove a perk for free, but 25 pearls does it instantly

 

They should also increase the amount of inventory slots bought as they gradually increase their pearl cost.

I've come to the point where buying inventory slots isn't worth the 3900 pearls any more. 5 inventory slots or a ton of x5-guild boosts for the mates. I'll take the latter

I think the original poster had it right. The game has made it's money. The heart of original post can be summarized. Don't nickle and dime players.

We own the perks. And own the weapons as in the traditional sense. We possess them. So why the cost to move perks....gets silly.

Arguments about saying because this is how it's been done are silly.

What about building player good will?

And making the game more player friendly?

I like this idea lol currently my shields and torps share perks so changing from shooter or speeder to enforcer is expensive lol

I agree with u guys, but I can imagine where the pearl cost implementation for swapping perks came from. They basically copied from freemium mmorpgs of the old years, where players can apply "jewels/enchantments/cards" to their weapons/armors, and removing them would cost premium currency or a hefty amount of standard currency.

The logic was that these "enchantments" were like the end game goal, whereby equipments were easy to come by, but good "enchantments" were not, so they put a premium to swapping them to milk players and make it more "exclusive" to the whales. Heck some games you were not even allowed to remove the enchantments, but to throw the whole weapon away if u didn't like it.

But in battlebay, where end game items are already so hard to obtain due to rng, this perk swapping fee must go.
