Is hardcore TDM a good thing for ranked?

    The problem with playing conservatively, is that if you have suiciders on your team, then not only will you lose anyway, but you’ll lose with lower damage, which will affect your rewards, and may end up affecting your infamy (depending on how the new infamy system works). While the player who suicides can still be very effective when he has more aggressive teammates, and will consistently do good damage, at least, getting better rewards.

    So someone who plays worse than you, might end up progressing through the game faster. If that does happen then playing conservatively will be a losing move; suiciding will be the only option, and we end up with a dysfunctional game.
