New Matchmaking?

I don't think infamy matters anymore. It's just ship and gear level.

yes i should use a shield but for now i am using a bandage as i usually recover more than the shields worth over a match even from my level 10 rare bandage.

 

Me:

Too lazy to level up that nitro I'm saving to upgrade that wonderful bandage. All F2P XD. I'm thinking of switching to a ML/BC setup or FG/BC setup. I might, but then again, I might not.

Blast Cannon: 618 dmg with all rare cannon dmg perks.
Big torpedo: 1186 dmg with an epic torpedo dmg perk and UC frost dmg perk and an UC torpedo dmg perk.

Yes it is, i find myself in a situation with lots of epic red items but no yellow epic items due to me swapping from shooter but i would love that batle cannon even the rare one. With one more strong weapon i could start moving up even more

It does 47-55 right now, but I scrapped my perks. It would have done about the same with those perks. XD

B) why do we lose 24 pts when infamy is so lopsided, shouldn't it be ~18-20?

When I first looked at the match I was like “grrr why is there a mk2 speeder on our team” ... but then I noticed there was a mk2 speeder on the other team as well

That’s actually kind of cool. Does this mean I can now use my lower mk ships, without killing my whole team?

As for mk4 ship, I think matchmaking has improved a lot. It is just my personal opinion. Thank you Rovio.

 

I thought matchmaking was fixed smh, this screenshot says otherwise. 314 & 446 infamy players with 1400ish players which is not even within the 800 infamy range. C'mon Rovio!

 

What is an mk5 doing at 436 infamy? If it is only based on infamy then that mk5 will be matched with mostly mk2 and mk3 which will be unfair for those mk2 and mk3 cos they won't stand a chance. I think it now takes into account ship tier as well and not only infamy.

 

I found the matchmaking pretty fair. I some cases, you have a mk5 with 500 infamy paired with 2k players but when you see how many matches did the 500 infamy player play you may find 10k matches. Playeda lot today and ship's marks were well balanced in alomost every match
