New infamy loss calculation in Rank mode

    It is very difficult to make matchmaking perfect because player base and waiting time are the most difficult parts to handle
    But how about changing the calculation system to better reflects players performance?

    It would be better if Players lose infamy according to their performance

    For example, the top contribution player -20, the least contribution player -24
    As a result, everyone are encouraged to try their best in the battle

    As for win, we keep the current calculation (all +24)

    So the floater get the same amount of points as the captain who wins a 2v1?

    they should get rid of the Infamy system . its just to broken to be fixed . no infamy system equal to no complaints about infamy .

    That’s not a bad suggestion actually. More infamy will be pumping into the pool in the long run and we really needed that.

    As the matchmaking during event time is so bad and there are not enough people in rank, i think it is necessary to do some change of the infamy system in order to compensate the unfair matchmaking

    Infamy range is fairly static, so I'm assuming you are referring to distribution? The main issue I see between now and 7 months ago is the amount of players who dropped from NML/Ace I down into Master. Instead of Ace 1 having the big crowd, many of them have dropped Infamy despite gaining experience and strength making matchmaking at the top fairly problematic with lack of players.

    The reason for those players dropping is not enough infamy in the pool. If those players gaining infamy, others have to drop. Given that there are 100 whales starting the game today and burst into nightmares next month, many people in between will have to drop infamy for those whales.

    If there are more ways to inject infamy into the pool, then everyone will rise in infamy. The strongs will rise higher. Everyone will level out at some points and the excesses will get chop off when reset of season.

    Climbing infamy is more pleasant this way too. This way also protect the pool from high end players leaving the game. There is a guaranteed that someone else will replace them. Right now, when a NM player stops playing ranked, those infamy are not replaced.
