    That would be a similar approach to how Wayward Pains map was introduced .It was more likely to appear for a time, and then switched to same chance as all others thereafter.
    Sounds like a realistic option, but could be unpopular with people who want alternative weapons. Still, sometimes you cant please everyone.

    Don't think it's happening tho, if it's a 2-slot-point weapon that would be a stab into all Enforcers' backs.

    with strong double bubble, yes
    it would be a stab into enforcers' backs because increased chance of forced increased chance of getting this new weapon because enfos will get tons of duplicates for item they can't even use (if it's 2-point weapon)
    adding possibility to choose whether you have increased chance, or not would be probably best

    Meh, I run a Mk6 Enfo with no bubbles at all. And tbh, if the damage is good enough, I'd happily sacrifice a slot for it

    As @Miathan has previously said, the new weapon will likely be OP initially (to ensure it is popular, and sought after) and then it will be nerfed to balanced point in the future.

    It certainly seems like a 2 slot weapon.
    The aiming is a little concerning, I'm guessing that if you have a target on lock you will press and hold the fire button until all 12 shots are fired. And then you can move your fire aiming as you're holding it down, kinda like leading your shots with torps or mortars.
    This weapon doesn't seem to be any threat to bubble users since the individual projectiles won't be strong enough to break one and it's not like a flare gun or carronade where to damage is combined, since they don't fire at the same time.
