New fixer perks are far from OP

?

Are the new secondary healing effects worth trading in 7.5% healing?

  3. The chance of a secondary is actually a balanced trade-off

    Hey Guy's

The new fixer perks are a great idea, their secondary effects certainly put a smile on my face. But their primary effects are actually underwhelming and far from a game-changer

So if like me you opt for full healing perks over cooldown perks, both of the new perks will weaken your initial healing. Not sure if it's worth it for the chance of a great secondary effect.

E.g. if your bolt heals for 1000 with full healing perks, your healing will now be reduced to 925 because you've lost 7.5% in attaching a new perk. Then when you actually go into battle, your bolt is weaker for 75% of the time until you hit that 25% chance for invulnerability.

I agree with you. But we have to wait until the event starts and try those 2 new perks. We need to examine first before talking about the expected results.

Actually the perk affects your base healing, not your total. On my healing Bolt, the 7,5% damage perk would give me 47 healing points instead of 72. Screenshot_20180628-143320.png

Yeah it's a big downside. The box perk makes up for it by being crit though, which also increases healing but in a different way, and depending on your cooldowns both benefits of the box perk could be important to you. But the bolt perk, I personally would not take. I really don't care for the speed (bolt is already fast and 10% isn't much of an increase anyway) and while the invulnerability is cool, you're trading a guaranteed heal boost for an 1/4 chance effect. I wouldn't do it.

If bolts are already fast, won't the 10% be pretty big?
Edit: Sorry, no it won't xD

Now back to our usual broadcast...

Yeah, an extra 4 units per second is kinda underwhelming. Change it to healing, much better. THEN you will be allowed to say the perk is OP
