    Your absolutely right ,
    thats another issue.
    but still curent matchmaking have problems.
    let me ask you , what happens to a noob at his early carrer that gets matched up against your gunslinger with his upgraded colt.44
    i dont mind winners with skills
    but i cant stand those who win thanks to his gear

    It'd be boring. Matchmaking is fine from above some infamy (1000 is my guess, can be a little bit more), the problems are on the house of the new players who don't know how to play (because they're New) and are facing other players who also don't know how to play but have the same gear of master/ ace/ nightmare players; and on bad players' dishonesty, you have to be really unskilled to be a tanker ;)

    That's the worst possible matchmaking parameter, if the devs do a gear score matchmaking I'll quit due to boredom. It'd be tedious to wreck a 1000 infamy player with my gear score.

    It's at this point the game starts giving 0 fks to infamy, mk, gearscore whatever. It's brutal up here.

    I agree with Miika above certain infamy (Idk exactly what infamy it'd be):
    I disagree on low infamy, because almost everybody has less skill down there ;)

    A person with an upgraded .44 who lacks the skill to use it doesn't deserve the title of "gunslinger". And in your environment, this person will never be matched with noobs, which is good. But the drawbacks I've pointed out, as you can see, far outweigh the pros of the system.


    Also, did I mention that gearscore based matchmaking can be exploited by equipping just one heavy hitter on your ship, and nothing else(glass cannon)? For example, putting a maxed epic t5 on a mk1 ship. Your gearscore means youll probably oneshot everyone around that score.

    There's something off about this dude. 14k battles, a TON of kills, t4 gear, yet it seems like he deliberately tanks so that he stays in his own league, which is proven by his badge. A sadistic bully who enjoys wiping servers? That's downright mean.

    glad i got mine this soon, thanks to you.
    im curently at 200 infamy with mk4 shooter
    im somewhere around tier 3 ,
    but im stuck at 200 infamy
    i get to losse matches where my damage is 5000
    any advice?

    I'd like to have this because now I have matches like this:
    us:
    mk2 shooter
    mk3 shooter (with full standard uncommon mortar:mad:)
    mk4 speeder
    mk4 speeder
    mk4 enforcer

    they:
    mk5 fixer
    mk5 shooter (only epic items tier II and III)
    mk5 shooter (rare items tier IV and V)
    mk1 shooter
    mk2 shooter

    is this really fair?
