Is this a bug to give me this matchmaking?

I am doing well with only lvl 10 rare turbo on my mk3 speeder between mk5s

 

Well, i was thinkng about that too cause i too get this type of Match Making!
Actually system don't look at the Ship Tier! it finds what is equal to the Opponent but adding all the Mk's!
like in this one! Friends: 5+5+5+5+1=21
Unfriend: 4+4+4+4+5=21
So you see! This is Not Wrong Match MAking! there's a flaw in Algorithm!

 

and Mk1 are getting common in 1400-1600!

My friend R@jith Anand is now currently using Mk4 speeder.His setup is
Lv30 Sniper Cannon
Lv30 Big Torpedo
Lv22 Overboost
Lv10 Nitro
Lv15 Turbo
Lv20 Standard Shield

and he have 1500-1600 infamy now.Cool,isn't it?I started trying to use speeder from Mk3.So,for an Mk1 speeder,I would suggest using Cannon+Swift Torpedo+Nitro or Overboost(get practice using Swift Torp first) and u couldn't get hurt.Try to stick with teammates and when an enemy comes out of his team,support your teammates to kill him first.Don't go lonely with SPEEDER(MK1,2)

 

@WickEdDuck so that's why I didn't see you for a while... It is really a problem for everyone, especially in the below 1400 infamy range. Maybe you can try dropping some infamy, playing lesser (and chatting more like me ) or trying other ships, like what Cryix suggested?

I'm not a great speeder lol. When I play speeder I want to peekaboo people and dodge around (move backwards and spend precious time turning around) and when I play enfo I take greater risks than an enforcer should.
Anyway back on topic, for speeder setups it really depends on what you have and what you want! But whatever you choose you'll definitely want to have at least one burst damage weapon like cannons (except standard cannon), torpedoes, grenade and mine if you're good at it. Almost every speeder I encounter has at least 1 cannon, and a decent lot of them use the famous flare+blast/explo combo. But whatever you choose, remember that this is a game, and you are supposed to have fun playing it! Hope you'll still find some part of this game to enjoy; good luck
