Funny enough, I was finishing up the website during the CTF event, and I watched the use rate for duct tape completely skyrocket.

 

I just can't believe nobody uses Long Range Mortar. When I'll reach Rank 1 spot in the game with multiple Long Range Mortars, then people will see its value.

 

Lol there is reason people call mortars useless. I scrapped legendary LRM.

 

That's biggest mistake of your life. You'll see.

Why hasn't this been bumped yet? Yo devs, this member is very serious about the bay and this deserves to be in the top of forums for being some of the most useful info, we've seen, in a while!

 

Stickying = endorsing. I'm guessing they haven't done so because they got an important decision to make first, probably one that requires some internal discussion.

On one side, this clearly breaks the game's ToS (section 3, any automation is forbidden).
Buuuut.. It's also super useful, and a valuable service to the community.

So, do you:

• Allow it as is, and set the precedence that (read only) automation is allowed. Risking that someone, some day, causes some type of load they didn't design for, load that the servers can't handle.
• Or, do you enforce your ToS, try to block it, catch massive flak from the community as a result, and likely end up playing cat and mouse with whoever made it - possibly wasting valuable hours in the process.
• Or, do you decide to play ball with the community. Set up some sort of API or nightly data dumps that people like @Epicular can use to make cool community services. Like a json dump of useful stats, top XXX players from each league, their equipment, etc.. It could include stats like top 10 damage records, healing records, etc..

I hope it stays (and that they provide data dumps in the future)

I scrapped every mortar I ever got 'EVERY' I even sold the legendary mortar perk.
