I'm taking a much needed break - this is why

The game has lost a lot of it's magic for me, too, though I've been playing for a much shorter period of time. If I'm not progressing, especially if I'm regressing, I start wondering why I'm playing. We all hope you'll be back eventually.

 

Ya I'm still on multiple times a day to keep up with all the other things beside battling. And I have a few ideas for forum threads in the near future hopefully I can get back to it soon

 

I've been playing this game for like 2 months now, completed over 3700 matches, level 28 with MK 4 and just entered the ACE league..with off course, lot of frustrating defeats and awesome wins... I never even bother to check the chat forum as Captain Gilligan rightly pointed out, 'its full of young brats pecking at each other all the frigging time with senseless comments'..LOL...coming back to the game, please don't get me wrong, thats how ROVIO earn bucks(from wallet warriors)..they would absolutely not make any changes to that..but they should probably think about introducing training arenas and stuff where you don't gain or loose anything just for busting stress triggered by continuous losses sometimes and if possible some cool homing missiles. Trust me, when you have worked your way to reach to that infamy level and suddenly you see some player(WHO HAVE JUST COMPLETED LIKE 500 MATCHES OR SO)rocking legendary items and hitting you hard, your blood starts boiling...but still they lack experience and loose most of the time...thats the irony..don't know how it works out in the nightmare league though.. I've have not paid even a single penny to ROVIO till date and nor will i ever..ha ha!!!

Battle bay is one of the best mobile games I've ever played and i wish to continue for a little while more. Guys, just enjoy the gameplay, enjoy the excitement of blasting someone with all you've got and ignore the other bullshit..

 

I agree, this game is above and beyond what a mobile game should be. We can't complain on Rovio's decisions that much to include a P2W option as almost every mobile has that option.

 

I thought this would be a rant about stupid teammates.

Maybe I should take a break from this game. Losing because your opponents want to suicide into the enemy team or not move when mortars or torpedoes are coming is so frustrating. Like you said it's almost random and if I wanted random p2w games I would just go back to RNGstone and I really don't want to go back to that.

Maybe it's because I personally prefer 1v1 over team games or maybe because I picked to play the most team-dependent class :/

 

I like 1 v 1 more so than having to depend on random people I will never know. Playing a game where it's me against others or me against one other makes it do I don't have to assume my teamates are were the problem. If I lose a game by myslef because of my ability then I don't have to worry about teamates getting irritated at me or me getting irritated at them. Of course I went into battle bay knowing of its 5 v 5 gameplay so I can't say much in that regard. Buuuut, having a 1 v 1 option would be nice ......

 

I feels to me like the game is just going downhill
When I started it felt like there was fun close ship to ship battle now it just feels like you gotta run from mortars or random torpedos everywhere. After the nerfs a lot of fun skilled players left the game sadly I think. Oh well I havnt spent money and I'm probably gonna stop soon as well
