Im At A Standstill

OK reading this thread I've got only two questions..

How can you have 1300 infamy with that weapon tiers??

How can you have that infamy with that build up? Teach me master

 

So, I noticed that you definitely dont get stars after dropping Infamy, just not sure how much or what the indicators are. I bet it has a correlation between youre captain level and infamy.
I dropped an elephant ton recently, for 3 reasons. 1. I lost motivation to win so started trying out new weapons and focusing on saving up for a MK5 Shooter, which is actually really helpful. Its deinitely not my preferred ship but its a whole lot more straightforward than a Speeder. That helped temporarily, until my detest for my Shooter grew too much to play through. 2. I had Quests that asked me to sink ships with a Triple Torp. It's completely not meant for my ship, even though I have a level 2 Epic. 3. I'm doing a Quild Quest that needs 10 Killed ships with the stinkin Triple Torp. So, basically, everytime i hit a ship with a Triple Torp, I'm doing about 2200 less damage than I would've, had I had my Big Torp equipped. So over the last week, my infamy dropped about 500 while I chase ships with triple torps.

 

Unfortunately the game is setup so that you'll indirectly be penalized in infamy for trying out different ships and weapons, until you can level them up and/or get good at using them. Remove the triple torp from all your ships to avoid getting those quests if you don't want to use those weapons. For me it was brutal to keep working on quests asking for like 6000 rapid torpedo damage when the best I had was 235 damage per shot... that's a lot of games to pound through with an unleveled weapon.
