I love creative well-thought ideas like this. Awesome!

Problem with this game company is they only use data-centric approach to change these kind of gameplay for items and ships. Human-centric design is well needed during this time since the bay’s population is dwindling.

Like the title indicates, I'm here to save Battle Bay.

Here are some of my ideas that will save Battle bay, stop players from leaving (quiting), and get players back (who have left). And overall just give Battle Bay that fresh new feeling it hasn't had in a while!

- First off, an indirect but somewhat effective buff to defenders and fixers; standard shield buff. All standard shields will have 3 defense points per tier. (Tier 5 of any rarity standard shield will add 15 defense to your ship).

- Defender buff. +15% boost to ship and turret agility base.

- Carronade buff. Spread reruced from 12° to 8°. So carronade is more effective at mid-range combat.

- Triple torpedo. Cooldown reduced from 15s to 12s. (10.2s with full Blastian training)

- Gear lube. Event perk. +gear lube effect + ship speed.

Uncommon - +10% effect. +10% ship speed
Rare - +15% effect. +15% ship speed
Epic - +20% effect. +20% ship speed
Legendary - +20% effect. +25% ship speed

- Repair box. Regular perk. Crit chance.
Uncommon 2.5%
Rare 5%
Epic 7.5%

- Frost items reworked in order to adapt to the change that left them extict;

Frost Blaster changed to Frost Bolt. (Now travels on the waves).

Frost launcher changed to Frost Napalm. (Self explanatory)
OR
New item. Avalanche. A frost item that acts as a napalm. Strong effect in center not so strong effect farther out of the ring.

Or if devs don't like those ideas make it so the first shot doesn't completely remove frost but makes it go to 3.0s

- A breather. Make rivalries last 5 days a week. And the events will fall in between those 5 days. Then everyone gets 2 stress-free days to just have fun in the bay and not worry about not making the 900 coins for their legendary perk or not getting 1st place in rivalry.

- Snipers (and all other cannons) have a chance to crit Tesla Shields. This is a fair trade. If the sniper crits the shield, it's most likely broken. If it isn't the Tesla Shield user made enemy waste a shot.

- New crew member. Splitter. (sounds cool?)
In this crew member, his trainings will have some ship agility to all ships, and turret speeds to all ships. Some boosts to specific ships. Projectle speed for the Electro-arrow and duration for redirect (2 new items that follow).

New item. Electro-arrow. Red item. 2 slots. Type: curve (will have a curve like the blast cannon). Range: longer than a blast cannon but shorter than a sniper. Projectile speed that of a blast cannon. This item will electrify an enemy for 7.5s. Every 2.5s it will deal the respective amount of damage to the enemy (a total of 3 times). The enemies within 5 range of him (max 2 players, so the 2 closest enemies near him in a case where he is close to all 4 teammates) will be effected by half the damage he is taking, so he will want to immediately get away from his teammate(s). (This is why I came up with the name Splitter for the crew that this item is linked to). I think the damage of a max epic Electro-arrow should be around 500 damage. Dealing 1500 total to the enemy and 250 per tick to enemy's nearby teammates (in a great situation this would deal a total of 3000 damage, 1500+750+750, considering your teammate stayed right next to 2 teammates which isn't very likely).

New item. Redirect. Yellow item. 1 slot. Type: Bolt. Purpose: confusion. Tilts enemy ship's view back and forth. Also, in the item's setting you rotate their movement by 0°-360°. So if you set it to 90° if they try to move straight forward they will actually be moving to the side. The cooldown should be around 15s and the effect shouldn't be too long.
