I was banned by mistake?

You were banned for going afk and losing. You won't get banned as long as you move and shoot in games...

 

So you got, deserved, and served a 7 day ban, great forum material, thanks.

 

I hate tankers and exploits as much as the next person. However, I agree with Dixon. What if I try to actually master the speeder, in which I completely suck, and realize I just really suck? Negative 400-600 infamy can be lost in several hours. Will I be banned for practicing?

 

As mentioned previously, if the OP gave account access to their lesser experienced brother, the liability is still on the OP not the brother. Whether it is true or false, there isn't any way to prove the statement. From the Admin point of view, they cant determine who is playing at that point of time and it would be assumed that the account holder was the player who seemingly tanked infamy (whether true or not). If you 'really' wanted to file a lawsuit you'd be better off not and saving your money. There will be Ts and Cs somewhere about bit sharing accounts with anyone else.

Best to avoid it again or better still get your brother rolling with their own account and join in the game play, broaden the community.

 

I can't remember who or what thread it was in (since there is so many on this subject) the Devs have stated they look at the users data history of games and can determine if he/she is tanking and not just trying something new
