How viable is defender in high leagues?

    So I've heard that top leagues are filled with speeders and shooters. I've also read that defender gets worse progressing into the late game. For high infamy players out there, thoughts on the viability of defender? I'm currently doing fine at ~1800, but I don't want to be investing sugar/gold into a sub-par class in the late game. Cheers!

    Watch p0rthos youtube channel,he is a really good defender in the game. Or (if you can) ask him.
