Credit goes to @Schrödinger (as far as I know). His thread: https://forum.battlebay.net/threads/transcendental-screenshots.15946/

This Thread will show you how to use the newly found FREE CAM mode :D

    Screenshot_20180111-152529.png Screenshot_20180110-234336.png

    HOW TO DO THIS:

    1. Go to a Battle Bay replay (it can be by link or any in-game battle you have played)
    2. Once the "Ready 3 - 2 - 1" screen shows up, you can access the free cam mode
    3. Tap your screen with
    7 or more fingers
    4. If you do this right, the UI will disappear and you will be in free cam mode :D

    THE CONTROLS:

    freecam controls.jpg
The controls are invisible so I made this picture to represent them.

    1. There is a Joy pad in the bottom left that you can use to control the position of the camera. The farther you drag your finger from the center, the faster your cam will go
    2. everything else is used to control the angle of the camera, similar to game

    3. The farther your right finger is from the center, the faster the cam will rotate
    4. If you drag out with your right hand and hold your finger there, the cam will continue to move at the same speed until you release your finger

    HOW TO EXIT THE MODE:

    1. Tap the screen with 7 or more fingers again to exit the mode and return to the last person you were spectating

    QUESTIONS:

Q: Does this work while spectating a custom battle
A: Yes, and oh wow it's amazing!

Q: Does this work on All devices?
A: I know Apple and Samsung devices work, some members were saying how Oneplus devices do not work.
you can answer that in the comments!

Q: Is this an official feature of the game?
    A: Quote from Dev Karenai:
"you're free to use the free camera but it's not an officially supported feature at the moment. We've used it for internal and demoing purposes but haven't dedicated time to polishing it.

We definitely want to provide features to help players produce content in the future, so if you have things you'd like to see in that regard we're open to suggestions."

Q: Can you do this in a battle?
A: No, if you are in a battle you can not use the free cam mode

Q: Is there any boundaries to the maps?
A: Not that I could find, so you can explore the entire map without walls getting in your way! Easter eggs/Lore anyone?!

Q: Can you fly under the water?
A: No, the cam will stay a few "meters" above the water level, which makes for some really cool close up zoom shots!

Nice write-up. I personally think this feature is so cool that a bit of forum spam is well worth giving it it's own thread.

Not sure, what device are you using?

You don't need to quickly tap the screen. You just need to have 7 or more fingers touching the screen at one time.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A, and I was messing around, trying tapping and stuff, and I got it, but then I tried it again, and I couldn't do it.

Hmm, could it be possible that you are tapping an onscreen button by mistake?
I can so it on my Samsung galaxy s8+ perfectly without any problems.

I think it might be my device, the thing is ancient and slow.

I truly have no idea, maybe it was rage and the person just accidentally tapped the screen with 8 fingers XD you never know

Really what! My oneplus is getting fixed I will get it back tomorrow and I’ll try it out. Also OnePlus rocks that 8gigs of ram is the ish. It’s a better phone overall along with price then Samsung and IPhone.

I am using a oneplus 3T with 6GB ram. And i am pretty sure it has nothing to do with specs.. Just rovio hasn't made this feature available for oneplus.. I think.

Yea I just have the OnePlus 3 but I can’t wait to get my hands on the OnePlus 5 that’ll be my next phone for sure. Do you think the OnePlus T modules are better?

OnePlus 5T is better in terms of display. But OnePlus 5 is good enough..:)
But When i compare Oneplus 3 and 3T there's not much difference. It's one and the same. Only a little bit of battery and camera improvements. But u won't know the difference. It's very minimal.

I don’t really care for display they all have great screens and cameras in this day and age I care about the power it has with the technology in it. Thank you though.
