How can new players enjoy this game?

Only skill is required. I got to 1100 with mk1 and minimal weapons

Bullshit why should mk2s have to try so damn hard and battle players 2mks above them

That was my first reaction too. Then I realized that I spend a lot of time in a lot of games trying to do the impossible... soloing group content and the like. In the end what occurred to me is that I didn't mind the challenge so much as I minded the fact that you weren't rewarded for it. At the very moment when you most need gear progression it grinds to a halt.

 

They should keep it so you face other people in your infamy level, no matter what. But if you think the player is too low for their ship level you can report them and they can face consequences because there are some mk5s that are stuck at 400 infamy because they face other people that are brought down from 1000 infamy because of matchmaking. Which makes them lose which brings them to 200 which puts them in your game. The bb matchmaking brings people that are mk5 and below 500 up to 1000 and if they lose there their actual infamy goes down. It is unfair. You should face people in your infamy. That should quickly disperse of all the actual players and the droppers will get punished by getting reported by players using the report function. You can click their name and then go to the report tab.

 

Maybe they could put the beginers aside in a different League, they'd only face other beginers until they reach mk3 (or 4, I don't know) or reach 1000 battles then they'd be moved to our current infamy system. If a beginer become too strong to other beginers he could choose to go play on our league and, after that, if he realizes it was too soon, he could come back to the beginers league until he becomes strong enough or reach the MK or the numbers of battles...

 

I did for a while but nothing changed so then i stopped
And i also wanted to say i was at 800 infamy (i played back in may 2017) but now im stuck at 200-500

Its sad but true.. even though i am 2000 infamy
In my current guild there are alot of players(15 or more) that are 500 or less that have just stopped playing
I have had to find new guilds 3 times due to the members just stop playing.. Sadly i need to do it again
