Hey forum moderator

It's just that I thought you guys had a rotation or something. If there's no schedule that keeps at least one mod watching the thread, and there's no bot or algorithm to automatically catch these things when they happen, what will stop this from happening again?

I only ask because it's as simple as just watching the Current Visitors list to see if there's any administrators on before starting a spamwave.

 

So, they're back. I wonder why they're targeting the Bay forums?

 

Someone is "sleeping" on the job, they are back... Hire another moderator that can catches them quickly, *hint: someone in HST time slot.

Moderators do have IP address blockers so they can't make new member accounts right?

 

i guess forumgoers just need to "adapt".

See, this is what I was talking about when I said "what will stop this from happening again". I'm trying to just have faith that the admins do have some kind of system in place, and these spammers are just going around it somehow. Rovio is probably working on a solution to the problem right now. Maybe not quite as fast since this is happening simultaneous to their scheduled patch date, but they're definitely going to boot these guys permanently.

In the meantime... I guess the forums will just be a mess between 8 PM and 4 AM CST.
