Rovio, what is the criteria for teaming guilds?
I am in Active Shipsinkers and last 4 rival wars have been extreamly lopsided. We have been put up against guilds with world rankings in the top 100 we are at 847. Our infamy averages are way below our rivals yet we continually put against guilds with way more firepower and capability. Something should be looked at and the server algorithm may need adjustment?

This has been discussed to exhaustion in the forum. I agree with you. The guild matchmaking is ridiculous. You are matched up with guilds(using the highest number of quests completed in the last two weeks) against other guilds that completed the same number of quests. It doesn't matter what the infamy is or how much harder you have to work to complete the quests compared to a top 100 guild.
So now, the strategy is to take it easy for two weeks(sandbag), save your boosts up, and then come back on the third week and kill it to win your rivalry. There are other things I've seen guilds do as well regarding having shell guilds ready to transfer all your players to every other week so that you have a good matchup every two weeks. There are so many fixes that have been suggested on this forum, but the status quo appears to be the final answer.
