yes, continue to improve your tape, it will reward you. I was stuck at 2800 infamy whit shooter....in 2 weeks of tape use in ranking i can say to be 3100/3200 finally. I used it only in event before...i continue to dream 1v1 event...

Rn I stuck too much with tape (also my weapons aren’t the best) so I keep fixing team mates, but I’m dreaming of using tape, I have 2 tapes rn... My T4 uncommon (lvl 31) and my rare tape (lvl 1).

Does anyone have a tip to get them good enough to use them in battles?

 

you have to max your tape and trust their power, they will make you great

My comments: I've been thinking about switching out my swift torp for a big torp. Is this a good idea? Also, this is an old pic, so Msot of my items are slightly higher level now.

 

oh no! That bolt is not good for you! Try to get a simple T5 uncommon duct tape! Easy to get (buy the first) and usefull!
also switch a turbo with small shield!

ONLY The TAPEs will make you higher

 

Use small shield, u need to have a sufficient amount of hp to absorb damage.

You current loadout is Not Selfish Enough Fixer (NSEF) because u dedicate 1 green slot for others.
If u replace bolt with pulse u will be Selfish Fixer (SF)
If u use 3 Duct u will be Ultimate Selfish Fixer (USF)


Btw I just duel with a Ultimate Unselfish Fixer (UUF)
It use 3 bolt. It was using 2 carro, 1 Epic Lvl 50 and 1 Legend Lvl 10. That UUF firepower was so high it outmatch my Duct Force!!! I don't have the chance to fight back as I was pressing my duct more than firing it.

I own two carros t1L and t5E and currently heading towards my leggy duct tape. (I have a t5E right now). I have fought a few selfish fixers. One of them basically just kept hitting their duct tapes trying to out heal the damage. They would of been better trying to take my out than out heal. Apart from events I don’t think the dual carro would be good in normal events as you have to get a bit too close for comfort.

way of the Duct

1. Activate at least 1 tape before you engage.
2. Ducts are your priority. Always activate them every half-cooldown of the previous.
3. Be aware if unfriend yellows have tesla bolts. Stay far far far away from these.
4. Walls and Rocks are your best friends. If your HP drops to 1/3 with no activated tape, find some shade.
5. If you're going to use fast cooldown weapons, limit it to 1 else you will find yourself shooting more and healing less.
6. Don't tank shooter's damage, you will regret it.
7. Don't play aggresively you can still die quickly.
