    Negative! I just watched a frost blaster clip on YT...frost is a straight shot with a spray of ice shards near its base. This is a looping shot of shuriken shaped projectiles, as far as I can tell. But they must have missed, because they don't do anything visible.

    and @JoshW, that pulse seems to originate from the Guardian. Repair pulses can elevate like that too, depending on waves and stuff. (if my memory serves)

    True, he is right at the top of the wave. I've never seen a repair pulse do that nor have I watched one frame by frame.
    Just speculation on my part, that plus the ufo`s hitting the pillar at the same time seemed suspicious to me.

    Definitely possible. Yellow section has items that affect the ship itself (OB/TS/Nitro) and items that fire projectiles at other ships (Frost Blaster, FL, TB), so why can't this new color?

    Yeah, vid seems to feature a pair of guardians.
    You can see around 13-15 secs. One guardian is shielding, and it is being harassed by another guardian.

    Some of us here are under the opinion the shurikens did it... others say it originated from the on screen guardian. Just petty squabbles among friends, nothing more :D

    For all we know it could be a weapon, there are no damage signifiers for any of the other weapons shown.

    But aren't we all under the idea that there will currently be 3 or more items for the gaurdian, because of the shield, pulse, and shurikens?

    According to CaffinatedChris there are more than two items, we don't know for sure if the shurikens are what he meant but it's the only thing that stands out from the video.

    That's the popular opinion. We know about the shield/pulse, and the shurikens are our best candidate for a third item.
