    Nothing wrong with that! Every item has a role, and every player has an opinion. I myself do enjoy a good excannon on my shooter or interceptor... BOOM double kill ;)

    I think Blast is technically better, it has much higher DPS for more consistent damage, and fewer missed opportunities, also faster projectile.

    EC has a bigger burst, which can be useful, but it can just as easily be overkill, or mean you’re unable to shoot because of CD. The potential to splash is quite situational, and since splash damage was nerfed, it’s hardly worth bothering about.

    I currently run EC+Flare on my Speeder, mainly because my EC is level 50, and my Blast is only level 40. However, despite being 10 levels lower, Blast has almost the exact same DPS.
