Look, to the OP, your concept comes from noble reasons, I get it. However, when the game already has given the rewards to the new players, it'll feel wrong to take them away like this.

Im not a babysitter to go, and find ppl who reached nightmare with rare gear. I always have ppl with t3 epic t4 rare in my team, and yes they're nightmare players.

again that arrogance... (maybe you wanted to make "friendly joke", but it again sounded is arrogant af NM player)
why would I want to search them? now-no players who reached NM with t3R and t2E in last month, so my statements were right, if you want to prove the opposit, then search them, simple
again, you were not able to prove me wrong so you added that...
that's not what I said, there is difference between t3R+t2E and t3E+t4R, the difference might be like 200 damage or more...

I just noticed that there are 2000+ nightmare players. U can find many ppl with rare gear around 3800 (who are nightmare players)
The only solution against sealclubbers is by improving matchmaking (each league should have its own matchmaking formula). This is clearly not our fault.
Another solution is by giving us a larger space to gain infamy. Infamy should reset to 5k or 6k in nightmare league, so these ppl won't have hard opponents while grinding.
Also, ppl always talk about sealclubbers when they have one in the enemy team, and they don't talk about the ones in their team.

    Stop talking about sealclubbers.
The event rewards system will add more sealclubbers to low leagues.
Sealclubbers were created after 2.5 update. ppl were trying to complete guild quests in an easy way by facing "weak opponents".
    Again, this isn't our fault.
Rovio keeps adding events, and mods without testing them (They are testing them, but there are always many things ignored: this is the reason of this post. Im trying to save the bay from more sealclubbers).

2k+ in NM, interesting, but only visible to players in NM:rolleyes:
yes, it's not your fault, but there are many 4.5k+ infamy players seal clubbing with mk1-3 ships..
and things that you suggested would make seal clubbers even bigger problem, because it would be impossible to ever reach level of those clubbers so...
and your last sentence-again missing proof for it, for example, people complain about seal clubbers in events no matter in which team the clubbers are, I, for example, complained about them even when they were in my team, I stopped complaining about them because I just simply lost hope, it seems like devs are not going to fix that...

I can show you data that predates the 2.5 update that says sealclubbers existed before 2.5 as well.

I was a victim of heavy sealclubbing in July 2017 or so, when an Ace 1 speeder, fully geared up, ended up fighting my mk3 defender which literally had MY HP COUNT. It'll take me a while to find it, but even so, I have pics.

Sealclubbing has been a MAJOR issue since global launch, you can just check out the threads around June-July 2015 and take a look.

Anyway, we cannot stop talking about sealclubbers until there are no more of them, your plans for balancing the progression for new players will have to wait until then at least.

    To clarify:
New players will think like this:
Lol op rewards... yeah another legendary piece... I will stay at this level to collect more pieces then I will combine op weapons to gain infamy... lol wait why I should gain infamy there's no difference in rewards between my league and other leagues... I will stay here, face "weak opponents"... Collect more pieces... Build more op weapons... A new sealclubber added to the list... Lol a very long list...

my point is this rewards system will add MORE sealclubbers to the game.
    Nerf event rewards.
Improve matchmaking. (make it a level based matchmaking)

First improve matchmaking then. Otherwise it's going to look like a small carrot with a very big stick.

op rewards isn't the right solution. old sealclubbers will stay in low leagues to gain more op weapons, and new players will become sealclubbers quickly.
Lol If u didn't notice yet: Sealclubbers are the most ppl gaining in this event.
OP Event rewards isn't the solution. ur just making the problem worst.
There will be a lot more sealclubbers in few weeks if rovio didn't take the right decision.

    In other words
winners = sealclubbers >>> 1800+ coins per event.
losers = new players >>> 700– coins per event.
The only solution for new players is to act as sealclubbers: drop infamy and gear score to face weaker opponents.
    The problem is solved....
No the problem is worst now...

You do realise that sealclubbers cannot sealclub in events with their OP gear?

Also dropping infamy is useless, you're rated only with GS. And the people clubbing GS are endgame players.

You do realize that they are SEALCLUBBERS.
Buddy, ppl with 4500+ infamy - managed to drop their gear score to face weak opponents, and ur saying that ppl with 1000~2000 infamy cannot drop their gear score to face weaker opponents.

Not now, surely, what with that fancy patch, but idk. Will have to see if there's any fresh reports from newbies.

Please correct if i'm wrong. By this statement, you are saying that new player get more legendary piece than old player.

So by that claim, do you have any data to prove your statement that new player get more legendary piece than old player?. Or is just (again) your assumption. In my opnion, it doesnt matter who get leg piece as long long as all player (old and new) have the same chance to get them.

I think we need a neutral moderator for this thread to quickly draw a conclusion rather than letting this discussion go and go without clear direction and everybody just keep insisting on their opnion. Or maybe devs or MVP can share their view to conclude this discussion @TheAntiSnipe . Sorry if i tag you bro, maybe you can help to put a moderator for this thead or maybe ask devs opinion for this matter.

Anti responded here, he tried to convice the OP that no rewards should be nerfed, that older players complained about slow progression as newbies and these older players are now complaining because devs made the progression for newbies faster
then they ended "arguing" about seal clubbers, whether they existed before guild raffle and events, or not;)
