Your Voice Event Discussion and Feedback - Fiery!

I'm not complaining, this event just feels like TDM, a gamemode I've enjoyed since its release. My flare lasts a bit longer, which is nice since I actually perked it for cooldown (one of each event perk). I see some people are upset about fixers feeling nerfed in this event, but I wouldn't blame the event for that. Battle Bay is a game about strategy, if fixers are struggling in this event, the solution would be to try something else. I understand that that isn't very easy when you're a solo main as your non-fixer gear may be inadequate for battle, so the real solution lies in making trying other ships and items more accessible, though I would argue that gs-based matchmaking kind of does that for us already. Heck.

I like this event, the only iffy one for me was the 1v1 event and the first 2v2 event because the gs-based matchmaking was not ready for that at the time lol.

 

Now that this event's over, can the next one be a time themed event?
1. Zero ability to capture
2. The team with most kills after time expires wins (5 mins a match)
3. 10 sec respawn
4. Weapons cooldowns halved
I think this would be interesting. The thing is, I like this game, the more battle I can get out of a match I think the better.

 

The only downsides for us players; this means a guaranteed 5mins to get your coins so we won’t earn that much, and I really didn’t like the half cooldown due to my lack of 2slot items

 

It's a mode for those players who actually just want to fight. Coins will always come after the match, waiting a little bit longer shouldn't be much of an issue to those of us who enjoy the fight.
