Do you still grind for Legendary Event Perks?

I got the legenadary ec reach fire damage, finally a usable perk.
It was nice having 4v4 and 3v3, it was easy to get 900 now back to the same old 5v5 where getting 900 is too hard and takes to long. Oh well it was nice while it lasted​

 

3v3 was perfect, we could find a good fleet mate and just destroy everyone. Made the grind way easier.

 

Only after reading this thread that I realized I forgot to use my coins again. Oh well, it was only about 50 coins. I only played it because a guildmate wanted to.

 

And how useable is it? A bit of range isn't that much for a legendary.

 

Leggy perk gives more range than any epic tho..

 

And who uses a range perk on a cannon?

 

Having already fire damage and range is the icing. Those range can be useful at time. I got a napalm perk awhile back that add projectile speed with timer. What do you think adding projectile speed does to a napalm? Absolutely nothing.

 

12 percent range and 12 percent more damage to burning enemies. The burning part is the important thing

 

Yeah, but you can get 12% damage for burning target from a normal perk,

Perks like cannon damage crit "8% damage and 4.5% crit chance" is legendary, kinda OP, but range mehh...... .

For slower boats, range is extremely important.

You want to know a useless legendary perk? Look at the sniper one. Does the sniper need more projectile speed? There is nothing better fitted on the sniper than the crit chances atm. While other cannons have galore of perks available.

 

Unbelievable, they reduced the epic perk chance back to 2 % in latest event.



I don't usually write text with caps lock on but now I have to do it: WHAT ON EARTH WAS WRONG WITH THE 8 % EPIC PERK CHANCE? It was still more than 600 coins on average per one epic perk. Now we're back at RIDICULOUS 3k coins per one epic perk. Any dev comments? Eh, I know I can keep dreaming..

 

8% required 750 coins on average for an Epic Perk. Now we are back in the situation where Epic perks are far more expensive than Legendary.

 

What are you talking about? Respawn protection is there:

 

Looks can be deceiving. Wait until you respawn on a mine.
