Do you still grind for Legendary Event Perks?

Same here. At 450/day, I don't even bother anymore and I actually seem to be playing less and less battles every week. I collect a few ship pieces every event because I still enjoy BattleBay game play.
I haven't finished my 18 weekly quest count in over a month, normally I get to 12 now, one week I barely finished 8 of the daily quests. I also haven't played a ranked battle in forever, I won't play in ranked during an event, and during those few non-event days I don't play either since they screwed up the boat balancing with putting way too many fixers on teams(which is an automatic loss).

 

Okay epic perk chance is now 8 %. Another move to right direction that's actually high enough so that I will again stop buying ship pieces and start to buy perks.

Even though I voted "No" , I think that reaching 900 coins is pretty do-able if the matches were short. Like 3v3, 2v2 or 1v1 in the ongoing explosive cannon event.

 

I gotta say if you ever want to grind for that legendary perk, do it now. It's like all 8 available perks are good this time, you can't really get a bad one.

Potentially, the assumption is wrong in the first place - those perks are meant to be brought, not grinded for.
I posted a calculation about the exact hours to get 900 coins for average players. With prolonged matching time these days, it is going to be even more time-consuming.

I didn't grind before, but I basically ignore the X / 900 bar now. With Coins that rolled over, I at least had something special to work towards, even if I had to play for a few weeks to get it.

 

I guess... that's still 750 Coins for just a chance at an Epic Perk, but it is better than 3000 coins.

 

Ignore the perks, you only want that level 1 interceptor.

So far my legendaries have been 1 FB perk and 1 Standard Cannon perk. I have a rare T3 standard Cannon and no firebombs lmao.

 

All the changes are for the worst. This is one of many. Who has time to grind this much? Terrible

Consider yourself extremely lucky. I didn't get a hint of an epic perk. a couple of rares and a boatload of green crap. In reality that boatload of crap was better than the last Legendary perk, so yea, I just plan on accumulating crap as a reward for all those hours of effort. yay battle bay
