    Certainly not just luck and certainly not just good equipment. There are plenty of low level ships with legendary gear and irrespective of good gear or skills, everybody has a 50% win rate.
    I'd say it takes a combo of skill, gear but more importantly the tenacity to keep playing despite losing streaks without giving up

    Little of both. Some are good like bittersteel and twisted metal who rock a lot of rare equipment still, others have monster equipment to make up for a lack of experience.

    A buff to defenders is to the developers' decision they will know if it's Underpowered and if it was, they would've already buffed it.

    Defender does appear to be the go-to ship for the whale.

    Load it up with legendary bandages and weapons and insta gib your way to nightmare.

    got a question with random builds of rare parts

    im stuck with tier 2 bc waiting for a duplicate for almost a month and still no go

    but i have lots of uncommon big torp and bandages

    any tips or just luck if i really want that item to be my price for crafting parts

    The Defender, it's good as it is right now, the problem and the reason why he is "hated, under rated" it is cuz some people does not know how to play the defender, BUT yea, he need some loving he's not agile enough sadly. BUT an powerful ship in the right hands :)

    I've seen very few uncommon t5 on nightmare league players tbh. Those have been big berta and big torpedo so yes, there is few :p
