CAP or KILL event horrible matchmaking

this is very frustating, i have a mk 2 speeder with 1080hp...and i get matched with mk5...just imagine ....i get killed in one shot of railgun or big torp...events matchmaking is worse than the infamy battle

 

The matchmaking is quite horrible. All the team and enemy have the gear score around 7000. But, @ysl with 12000 gear score pop up.

 

That is the most fun!
If you do not try to win in these cases, you will not learn anything.
That's good experience, believe me =)

 

This is real strange to me lol in general I've felt this event has had consistently better match making then the last 3? I have only noticed 3 matches in particular where I felt completely out matched and only 1 or 2 where I felt like a complete bully

 

Nice matchmaking. Why am I being matched with mk7 shooter who has played more that 65k games at 5000 infamy with a gear score of 12500 with all t5 epics amd 2 legendary at t3. while I am at 7000 gear score.. Why why why??????? someone has messed up the system of matchmaking. Totally unfair system.

 

Yeah the other way round. I am seeing guys at 5k infamy and double my gear score. Its annoying, but its funny when they go down.

 

When the problem of matchmakeing appears in a match, there will be one ship who has a quite high gear score. The problem is quite consistent. I am not sure what Rovio does.

 

Does matchmaking really takes Gear scores into consideration or just ship mk? I use a level 1common,tier1rare and a tier2uncommon and one single tier3rare turbo , mk6fixer and everyone,both teammates and enemys have tier3+legendarys and tier5 epics

Never saw this in events before
I had 2 battles already, when 2 out of 5 my teammates did nothing during all battle. Precisely 0 damage. Just stay and do nothing.
That is even worse than crazy balancing...

 

I've done a bit of "research" when it comes to the unfair matching of items to players and I think it has almost nothing to do with the items themselves. It seems to be the perks that throw off your gear score. A few rare or epic perks are the difference between it being classified as much better than it is. I feel like perks count for way to much gear score. Try removing them if you're getting way better enemies.

I agree. If I want to get wrecked by players with much better gear than me, I can just go play the standard rated games.

 

I guess a lose is better than win lol

I was using my legendary blast (level 6 having 3 epic damage perks) and I was getting 5k+ infamy players. Switched it to T4E swift normal matchups i.e those matches I have 50% chance to win. Strange a single weapon switch and such dramatic change and the switched weapon is actually powerful gear score vise.

 

Yup... Crazy matchmaking.
But, to be honest, a few of them have infamy 3000-3500 =)

360 coins and... Freezer perk again! Now I have THREE useless freezer perks! Rare, Epic, Legendary.
They should change something in rewards for sure!

UPD: I have all my ships (except fixer) at level MK6. And I have enough items to use any ship - shields, bandage, tesla bolt, nitro, overboost, tesla shields... Except that f...ing Freezer items. And the last two TDM events - only perks for freezing and healing items! Ridiculous. What is the point for me in participation in that events?! Got nothing useful...
